A resident reported coming home from vacation and finding the door to his residence being kicked in.  Several items of value were missing.

A student reported that someone shot his vehicle with a paintball gun approximately three times. 
02 1324 ATM Alarm Library False Unknown  
Regions Bank advised of a ATM alarm going off.  The officer checked the ATM and everything appeared to be o.k.
03 0030 Traffic Stop University Loop East Municipal Citation  
An officer observed a vehicle with no tags.  The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver was cited for Driving on a Suspended D.L. and No Proof of Liability Insurance
03 0140 Vandalism Sigma Pi House Incident Report 05-00280
A student reported that the Sigma Pi house had been shot with a paintball gun approximately 12 times.
04 2305 Burglary Bush St. Incident Report 05-00281
A resident reported coming home and finding a door upstairs that had been forced open.  When the resident checked his room and the living area, he noticed several items of value were missing.  
05 1838 Vandalism Sigma Chi Lot Incident Report 05-00282
A student reported that sometime during the early hours of this date, someone deflated all of his tires, threw eggs at his vehicle, and wrote profanity on his vehicle.
05 1940 Medical Incident Student Union Sick/Injury Report  
A visitor accidentally struck a solid wall with his elbow.  The visitor asked to be transported to the hospital.  A  U.P.D. officer transported the visitor to N.E.A. Medical Center for treatment. 
06 0955 Domestic Dogwood Apartments Report/Referral 05-00283
Two residents at the Dogwood Apts. were having a verbal argument over the use of their checkbook.  The argument was just verbal and both parties resolved the matter while the officer was on scene.  Both parties were advised of their rights and the matter will be forwarded to Residence Life and Student Affairs.
07 1719 Accident Caraway Rd. No Report  
Two vehicles reportedly collided on Caraway Rd. near the Track Complex.  The damage was minimal to each vehicle and both drivers refused a report.
09 2250 911 Hang Up Twin Towers Incident Report  
A resident of Twin Towers accidentally hit 1 twice after dialing 9 to get an outside line.
11 0044 Traffic Stop University Loop West Municipal Citation  
A vehicle was stopped for failure to dim headlights.  The driver was cited for No Proof Of Liability Insurance.
11 1222 Theft Fowler Center Parking Lot Incident Report 05-00284
A non-student reported that someone stole a cell phone from his vehicle.  The victim stated when he was returning to his vehicle, a black male was sitting inside it.  When the suspect saw the owner of the vehicle, he got out of the vehicle and jumped into a silver Lincoln Towncar with a license plate of 304FKB.  
13 0307 Crowd Control Pi Kappa Alpha House No Report  
A member of the Pike House requested officer assistance with a crowd that would not leave the house.  Upon officers arrival, the crowd had dispersed.
13 1427 Accident Johnson Ave./Kays Hall Report  160805032
A non-student ran off of the roadway on Johnson Ave.  The vehicle traveled off of the roadway and struck the side of Kays Hall.  The driver was airlifted to a Memphis hospital.  The building sustained minor damage.
14 1125 911 Hang-Up Cypress Apts. Incident Report  
A resident of the apartment did not realize that they had dialed 911.  Officers checked the area and all was o.k.
15 0010 Medical Incident University Loop West/P.E. Bldg. Sick/Injury Report 05-00285
A non-student was found having a possible seizure beside the P.E. Complex.  The female was found lying in the roadway.  Witnesses had moved her to the sidewalk prior to the officers arrival.  Medic One arrived on scene and transported the female to NEA Medical Center.
15 0418 Disturbance Dogwood Apts. Incident Report 05-00286
Officers arrived to find that there was no disturbance at the resident.  The resident just received notice of a death in the family and was upset.
15 0645 Traffic Stop University Loop East Municipal Citation  
An officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign.  The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver was issued a citation for Hazardous Driving.

A resident complained that she was getting harassing phone calls.
16 0902 Found Item Facilities Management Report 05-00289
A member of Facilities Management located a pair of glasses with a case.
16 1245 Lost Item College Park Report 05-00290
A student reported that he lost three compact disk that belonged to the Library.
16 2226 Theft of Property Arkansas Hall Incident Report 05-00291
A student reported that someone had entered his room and took a set of hair clippers.

A student reported that someone had entered his room and took a portable cd player and a shower curtain.
17 1340 Theft of Property Whittaker St. Incident Report 05-00293
A resident reported that someone had entered his storage room and took several items.  A cordless skilsaw, cordless drill, and a tool kit were taken.
17 1520 Disturbance Cedar Apts. Incident Report 05-00294
The resident of the apartment told officers that her ex-boyfriend had entered her apartment.  When she told him to leave, he refused and a scuffle started.  The victim used a bedrail to protect herself and the suspect took the rail and threw it.  This caused a window to break.  The suspect left prior to the officers arrival.  
18 2345 Disturbance Linden Apts. Information Report 05-00295
A resident and their cousin had a verbal argument.  The parties separated for the evening.
19 0429 Information Cypress Apts. Information Report 05-00296
A report was made of possible drug activity around the Cypress Bldg.
19 1401 Medical Incident Student Union Sick Injury Report 05-00297
A visitor fell in the southeast stairwell.  She complained of a hurt knee and she also complained of her forehead hurting.  She was transported to the Student Health Center for treatment.
20 2000 Fire Alarm Magnolia Apts. False Alarm  
Officers responded to a fire alarm at the Magnolia Apts.  The battery to the fire alarm was low causing the alarm to beep. 
21 0200 Disorderly Conduct Lambda Chi House Incident Report 05-00299
While on foot patrol, a officer witnessed a male restraining a female.  Upon contact, the officer realized that the male was restraining the female to keep a altercation from happening.  Allegedly a female threw beer on another female and a fight was about to take place.  The officer calmed down all parties and a report was taken.
21 0245 Battery III Pike House Incident Report 05-00298
An officer was approached by a subject that told officers that he was allegedly struck in the face by a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.  The officer transported the subject to the police department for a statement.  While gathering a statement, another subject came in and also had claimed to have been struck in the face by members of the Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.  Both subjects have visible bruises and cuts on their faces.  Statements from the victims and witnesses were taken.

The driver of the vehicle was cited for Driving on a Suspended DL
21 2245 Traffic Stop Aggie Rd. Municipal Citation  
A officer observed a vehicle traveling westbound on Aggie Rd.  The vehicle then drove across onto the on-coming lane of traffic in a careless manner..  The driver was cited for Careless/Prohibited Driving
22 1156 Medical Incident Fine Art Bldg. Sick Injury Report 05-00300
A student started having a seizure in the lobby.
22 1210 Found Items Post Office Lost/Found Report 05-00301
A set of keys was located in front of the Post Office.  The owner of the keys was located.
22 1311 Traffic Stop Caraway Rd. Municipal Citation  
A driver was cited for Failure to Yield to Pedestrians in a Crosswalk and Driving on a Suspended D.L.  Also the driver was arrested on outstanding warrants from the Jonesboro Police Department.
22 1313 General Incident University Loop West Information Report 05-00302
A student reported being struck by a vehicle while crossing in the crosswalk near the P.E. Complex.  The student gave the officer the license plate number.  The student registered to the license plate was sent to Student Affairs.
22 1506 Harassment Twin Towers Student Referral SA05102
A student was sent to Student Affairs for harassing an employee.
22 1520 Parking Lot Accident Lot SW-5 Report 05-00303
Two vehicles collided in parking lot SW-5.  No injuries were reported.
22 1618 Traffic Stop Caraway and Aggie Municipal Citation  
A driver was cited for Expired or No D.L.
22 1740 Traffic Accident University Loop East/Danner St. Accident Report 160805032
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of University Loop East and Danner St.  One driver was transported to St. Bernard's Medical Center for treatment.
22 2305 Traffic Stop University Loop West Campus Citation  
A student was cited for Failure to Stop at Stop Sign.
23 0901 Medical Incident Student Union Sick/Injury Report 05-00304
A student passed out in the Student Union.  The student reported donating blood a short time earlier.  The student was transported to St. Bernard's Medical Center.
23 0940 Lost Item Kappa Alpha House Lost/Found Report 05-00305
A student reported losing their cell phone near the K.A. House.
23 1018 Disturbance  Student Union Incident Report 05-00306
A employee that was terminated started causing a problem.  University Police escorted the ex-employee off of the property.
23 1035 Disturbance Student Union Information Report 05-00307
Several student were being loud.  When told to keep it quiet by a university official, they refused.
23 1110 Parking Lot Accident Lot NW-1A Report 05-00308
Two vehicles collided in lot NW-1A.  No injuries were reported.

Two vehicles collided on University Loop West.  No injuries were reported.  One driver was cited for Driving on a Suspended License and Hazardous Driving.

A faculty member located a purse along with most of the belongings that went with the purse.  The owner was located and she told officers that all of the belonging were there with the exception of some money.

23 1524 Disturbance Student Union Arrest 05-00306
A ex-employee returned to the Student Union and started another disturbance.  Officers advised her to calm down and she refused.  She was then arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

A student reported losing their cell phone in the Chickasaw Bldg.

A student reported that someone had taken the license plate off of her vehicle.

A visitor reported that someone hit his windshield twice with a blunt object.  The windshield was completely damaged.

A student admitting to using controlled substance in their room prior to officers arrival.  None was located in the room.

Several subjects were involved in a disturbance on Dean St.  One student reported being assaulted.  No medical treatment was necessary.
