03 0954 Traffic Offense University Loop West Municipal Citation  
Info An officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign.  The vehicle was stopped and a citation was issued for No Child Restraint.
04 0120 Traffic Offense Caraway Rd. Arrest 05-00247
Info An officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign.  As the officer started to pull the vehicle over, he noticed the vehicle crossed the center line several times.  The car was stopped and the driver was arrested for DWI.
04 0757 Domestic Dean St. Arrest 05-00248
Info A female student reported that her boyfriend (also a student) had hit her and threw her to the ground.  The female had several scrapes and bruises on her face and shoulder.  Officers located the male student a short time later and he was arrested for Domestic Battery III.
05 0715 Theft Indian Village Construction Open Case 05-00249
Info The foreman of Olympus Construction filed a theft report claiming that an unknown amount of lumber had been taken off of the site.
07 1510 Lost Item Library Open Case 05-00251
Info A female student reported that she lost her cell phone in the computer lab at the Library.
07 2216 Criminal Mischief Choctaw St. Open Case 05-00252
Info A resident reported that some juveniles poured Log Cabin Syrup on her daughters bicycle.  Also the bicycle was covered with feathers.
08 2349 Burglar Alarm First Care False Alarm  
Info Housekeeping accidentally set off the burglar alarm at the First Care Center.
09 0740 Complaint Kays Hall Lobby Closed  
Info A resident complained of a bird flying around in the lobby.  Officers caught the bird and released it outside of the building.
10 2331 Accident Post Office Closed  
Info A Non-student lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree. Medic One transported the driver to St. Bernard's.  K.E.G. towed the vehicle
11 1522 General Incident Cooley Dr. Closed 05-00253
Info The parking gate came down onto a vehicle.  Minor damage reported.
13 0752 Medical Incident Kays Hall Closed  
Info A female was feeling ill.  Emerson Ambulance transported her to St. Bernard's Medical Center
14 1446 Hit and Run Aggie Rd. at fountain Closed  
Info The driver of an 18-wheeler attempted to drive around the fountain on Aggie Rd.  His trailer struck the fountain and then the driver drove away from the area.  Officers located the truck and cited the driver for Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
15 1115 Harassment Aggie Rd. at fountain Referral 05-00259
Info A student employee reported that another student made verbal threats towards him.  Officers contacted the male student that made the threats.
17 0433 Burglary Alarm First Care False Alarm  
Info Housekeeping accidentally set off the burglar alarm at the First Care Center.
18 0045 Warrant Assist Pavilion Arrest  
Info A non-student was identified to have warrants from the Jonesboro Police Department.  J.P.D. came and took custody of the subject.
18 0435 Found Item Armory Open Case 05-00261
Info An officer located a bicycle near a dumpster.
18 0607 Burglary Alarm Facilities Management False Alarm  
Info Morning crew forgot to turn the alarm off before entering the building.
18 0625 Found Item P.E. Complex Open Case 05-00268
Info Housekeeping located a bicycle beside the building that appeared to have been abandoned.
18 0900 Medical Emergency Student Union Closed  
Info Emerson Ambulance transported a non-student to St. Bernard's.  The non-student was complaining of severe stomach pains.
19 1153 Traffic Offense Aggie Rd. at Driver St. Municipal Citation  
Info An officer observed a small child standing in the lap of a passenger in a moving vehicle.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was cited for No Child Restraint.
19 2000 Lost Item Student Union Fitness Center Open 05-00264
Info A student reported that he lost his cell phone while working out in the Fitness Center. 
19 2046 Trespassing Fine Art Building Closed 05-00265
Info Officers received a report of suspicious juveniles inside the Fine Art Building.  Officers located the juveniles and transported them to the U.P.D. to call their parents.  They were then escorted off campus.
20 0632 Medical Emergency Student Union Closed  
Info A construction worker fell approximately 15ft.  The construction worker was transported by Medic One to St. Bernard's Medical Center.
21 0805 Burglary Alarm First Care False Alarm  
Info An employee accidentally set off the alarm.
22 1509 Theft Academic Dr. Storage Area Open Case 05-00270
Info A faculty member reported the theft of a boat, boat motor, gas container, and a trailer.
22 1932 Burglary Alarm Presidents House False Alarm  
Info The burglary alarm was accidentally set off at the Presidents House
24 0056 Traffic Offense Johnson Ave. Arrest 05-00272
Info An officer observed a vehicle traveling west in the eastbound lane.  The driver was cited for Careless/Prohibited Driving, Driving on a Suspended D.L., and DWI.  The driver was transported to the Craighead County Detention Center for processing.
26 0500 Traffic Offense University Loop East Arrest 05-00273
Info An officer observed a vehicle traveling without any headlight on.  When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the vehicle started to flee.  The officer activated the blue lights and siren and the vehicle continued to run from the officer.  The officer pursued the vehicle south on Stadium Blvd, east on Race St., south on Fair Park Blvd., east on Phillips Dr., and then south on Caraway Rd.  The suspect vehicle then lost control and struck a pole at the intersection of Caraway and Parker Rd.  The driver jumped out of the vehicle and fled the area on foot.  Officers continued to chase the subject.  Approximately 10 minutes later, the suspect was in custody.  The driver was charged with several traffic offenses as well as two counts of fleeing.  Also the vehicle that the suspect was driving was stolen.  Jonesboro Police took custody of the individual.
29 1217 911 Hang Up Laundromat Closed  
Info Officers responded to a 911 hang up call at the Indian Village Laundromat.  When officers arrived, there was no one in the building.
31 0438 Traffic Offense Olympic and Aggie Arrest 05-00278
Info An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.  As the officer followed the vehicle, he noticed the vehicle cross the center line.  The officer stopped the vehicle and after an investigation, the driver was arrested for DWI.
