1 Academic Buildings Theft Several Pepsi machines were broke into and the change was taken.  There was no force and it appeared as if a key was used. 06-00137

3 P.E. Complex Theft Two students had their cell phones taken in the PE Complex.  They were later recovered at the Jonesboro High School. 06-00143
4 Indian Village Sick / Injury A child was stuck in the head with a rock.  The children were playing "Rock War".  Very minor injuries were reported. 06-00144
5 Johnson Ave. Traffic Stop The driver was arrested for obstructing governmental operations and felony possession of a controlled substance. 06-00145
5 North Parking Deck Theft A vehicle was broke in to and a cd player, speakers, and c.d.'d were all taken. 06-00146
5 Lot S-14B Accident A vehicle stuck another and then left the scene. 06-00149

6 University Loop East Traffic Stop A citation was issued for expired tags.  
6 Collegiate Park Found Article A purse was found near the apartment complex.  It was determined that the purse was reported stolen.  The Jonesboro Police Dept. picked up the purse. 06-00151
6 Aggie Rd. Information Report A student found a vulgar note underneath her windshield wiper.  She did not want to press any charges. 06-00152
6 Library Theft A student reported that someone took her book when she left it unattended in a study room for just a minute. 06-00153

7 Driver St. Found Article A wallet was found near Twin Towers.  The owner was contacted and he picked up the wallet. 06-00156
7 Com Ed Bldg. Information Report A staff member reported that her ex-husband came to the building and was looking for her.  He has threatened her in the past. 06-00157

7 General Campus Information Report A parent called U.P.D. and reported a possible hazing incident in which her son has been going through. 06-00159
8 North Parking Deck Accident A vehicle struck a concrete post.  No injuries were involved. 06-00160
8 Lot NE-3B Found Article A debit card was located in the lot.  The owner requested that we cut it up due to they have received a new one. 06-00161

13 Nursing Building Fire Alarm Maintenance workers that were spraying Kiltz accidentally set off a smoke detector.  06-00167
13 Com-Ed Bldg. Theft A student reported that someone took one of his books while he stepped out of the break room of the Com Ed Bldg. 06-00168
13 P.E. Complex Theft A staff member reported that someone took his cell phone from the locker room. 06-00169
13 P.E. Complex Fire A dumpster outside of the building was set on fire.  The fire department was able to extinguish the fire. 06-00170
14 University Loop East Traffic Stop A citation was issued for speeding.  
14 Twin Towers Battery III One student hit another student in the face after a verbal argument. 06-00171
14 Student Union Terroristic Threats A student allegedly told an employee at the game room that he would hurt him if he saw him out on campus.  The altercation started when the employee told the student not to throw the pool cue down on the ground. 06-00172
14 Collegiate Park Harassment A student returned home to discover that someone wrote on the outside of the window to her apartment.  The words were written with a finger which left a path through the dirt and dust that was on the outside of the window. 06-00173

18 Caraway Rd. Traffic Stop The driver was arrested for DWI-2, careless driving, no proof of insurance and driving on a suspended d.l. 06-00178
18 Pavilion Accident Two vehicles collided in the parking lot.  No injuries were reported. 06-00179

19 University Loop West Traffic Stop A citation was issued for driving on a suspended d.l.

20 Faculty Dr. Harassing Communications. A resident reported that someone kept calling her phone and then hanging up. 06-00180
20 Business Bldg. Found Article A wallet was located near the Business Bldg.  The owner was contacted. 06-00181
21 Facilities Management Harassing Communications A employee reported that someone left a threatening message on his cell phone. 06-00182
21 Telecom Bldg. Found Article A set of keys was found by an officer on foot patrol.  06-00183

22 University Loop East Traffic Stop A citation was issued for running a stop sign.

23 Caraway and University Loop Found Article A student found a plastic bag containing marijuana at the intersection. 06-00184

26 Arkansas Hall Information Report A student reported being followed by a male suspect.  The suspect followed her throughout campus.  The student drove to the police department to file the report. 06-00189
27 SW-1 Traffic Stop A citation was issued for speeding and no proof of liability insurance.  
27 University Loop West Traffic Stop A citation was issued for speeding  
28 Caraway Pedestrian Mall Traffic Stop An officer observed two vehicles driving erratically.  The officer attempted to stop the vehicles and a small pursuit began.  Both vehicles drove over a curb on Caraway Rd. and drove onto the pedestrian mall.  At this point both vehicles came to a stop.  The driver of one vehicle was arrested for DWI, careless and prohibited driving, and criminal mischief.  The driver of the second vehicle was arrested for outstanding warrants from Trumann P.D. and he was also charged with driving on a suspended license, careless and prohibited driving, and criminal mischief. 06-00188
28 Lot NW-1C Accident Two vehicles collided in the parking lot.  No injuries were reported. 06-00190
28 University Loop East Traffic Stop A citation was issued for passing a stopped school bus.

29 Sigma Pi Fraternity House Arrest A student was arrested for threatening other with a knife.  06-00191
29 Caraway Rd. Traffic Stop The driver was cited for driving on a suspended license and no seat belt.  He was then arrested for active warrants from the Craighead County Sheriff's Dept. 06-00192
29 University Loop East Traffic Stop A citation was issued for speeding.
